Geoff Vietz

Environmental Science

Geoff is an environmental scientist with a PhD in the hydrology and geomorphology of rivers and streamflow. He has been a senior academic with the University of Melbourne and is the Founder and Director of an Australian consulting company called Streamology that puts water science into practice.

Geoff is happiest when in the mountains, particularly when he is knee deep in snow with skis on alongside family and friends, or just overlooking our vast mountainous expanses realising our place in nature. He lives on Taungurung Country in a forest at the base of Mount Hotham.
