I am a social scientist currently undertaking a PhD at the Fenner School of Environment and Society at the Australian National University. My research explores how managers and researchers are responding to ecological transformation, using a case study of the Australian Alps; one of Australia's most iconic landscapes undergoing dramatic transformation. The drivers of this transformation include beetle-induced snow gum dieback, changing fire regimes, and shifting range suitabilities for different species. I am part of the Save Our Snow Gums (SOSG) Linkage Project, which brings together researchers and managers grappling with the potential loss of snow gums in the subalpine region of the Australian Alps.

I was the lead author for the Protect Our Winter's "Our Changing Snowscapes" report and found the advocacy work with POW after the release of this report very rewarding. I love the Australian bush and getting outdoors running, mountain biking, canyoning and skiing, so I'm passionate about how we can manage our environments into the future.
